Tecer redes de comunicação ao serviço dos cidadãos
Na cerimónia de encerramento do Colóquio Pátria, a distinção Ciudadano Telesur foi atribuída ao líder da Revolução Cubana, o General do Exército Raúl Castro Ruz.
Após três dias em que se articularam projectos, experiências e estratégias comunicativas para emancipar o povo através de uma comunicação política eficaz, terminou ontem em Havana o IV Colóquio Internacional Pátria.
Na cerimónia de encerramento, que contou com a presença do Primeiro Secretário do Comité Central do Partido e Presidente da República, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, e do membro do Bureau Político e Secretário de Organização, Roberto Morales Ojeda, foi atribuída, pela primeira vez, a distinção Ciudadano Telesur ao líder da Revolução Cubana, General do Exército Raúl Castro Ruz, bem como ao Chefe de Estado e Presidente da República Bolivariana da Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, por simbolizar a trincheira viva da América Latina.
Na Patria – que reuniu mais de 400 participantes de cerca de 50 países – foi assumido o compromisso de construir uma Rede Sul permanente, a fim de continuar a luta contra a guerra cognitiva, as campanhas de desinformação, a manipulação mediática e a guerra psicológica promovidas pelos actores imperialistas.
Segundo Rosa Miriam Elizalde, coordenadora geral do encontro, o Patria reconheceu que, embora a tecnologia tenha servido para a dominação e exploração, ela também tem um potencial profundamente emancipatório quando reorganizada sob princípios de justiça social e soberania popular.
Por isso, acrescentou, o Colóquio ainda não acabou, os projectos colaborativos que foram desenvolvidos nesta edição devem ser concretizados, de forma a continuar a fortalecer as redes de resistência e a consolidar a comunicação ao serviço do povo.
